Winter is certain in the “snow hole” Reit im Winkl: The place, located at around 700 meters, is extremely snow-reliable. Reit im Winkl is the ideal starting point for winter sports enthusiasts. Skiers and snowboarders will find 13 lifts and around 45 kilometers of slopes. The slopes are so varied that beginners and families can also have fun. For cross-country skiers there are around 150 kilometers of trails in the valley and on the Winklmoos-Alm. On the Winklmoos-Alm you will also find one of the two certified premium winter hiking trails. Guided snowshoe tours, a natural toboggan run and much more regularly make winter fans rave about.
