There are two ways to get to the Langerbauer Alm:
1.: From the Urschlau hiking car park in Ruhpolding , the path leads you via the "Maria Schnee" pilgrimage church , along the Urschlauer Ache , past the Bergwalderlebniszentrum , up until you reach the forest road again. This leads you directly to the Röthelmoos Almen, which also includes the Langerbauer Alm. (Duration of ascent: approx. 3/4 hour) .
2.: Alternatively, you can start your tour at the Weitsee hiking car park (in the direction of Reit im Winkl ). This path leads almost flat into the alpine pasture area (ascent time: approx. 1 hour).
There is a lot to discover on both paths - "big and small hikers" will find joy here and even the little ones can join in with the pram .
The cows on the alp provide fresh milk and thus a high-quality starting product for the excellent cheese made here. The bread is also freshly baked . A home-made alpine snack can - and should, on our recommendation - be enjoyed to strengthen yourself. In addition to cows and calves, a small "petting zoo " awaits the "little hikers" . While the parents enjoy coffee and cake, the children can watch the animals. Truly an alpine pasture for young and old!
