Achendamm route | With the stroller

Ideal small route for a break or on hot days. The dam of the Tiroler Ache is continuously accessible on the route and, due to its condition, is also suitable for a stroll with the stroller. A few meters from the parking lot, you will already reach the dam of the Tiroler Ache between Grassau and Marquartstein. Follow it southwards always along the water until you cross the Ache bridge and continue north again on the other side of the river. Along the Ache, it goes on to Staudach, where you can cross the river again and follow the dam back to the starting point.

Good to know for you:

• Look out for gravel banks on the dam path. You will surely find a spot where you can cool down and dip your feet in the water. Be careful: Do not go too far into the river, the current should not be underestimated.
• Take a head covering on warm days – there are only a few shady sections directly on the path.
