Gravel biking

Traveling on gravel and asphalt

Gravel bike is the name of the new trend bike. It's an off-road bike, half road bike and half mountain bike. Gravel bike fans use their stylish device primarily for riding on unpaved paths - i.e. grit or gravel, or on asphalt. The fans appreciate that their gravel bike is more robust and versatile than a racing bike.

Gravel bike: Tours in the Chiemgau-Area

So much for the theory. There are more and more gravel bikes arround Lake Chiemsee too. For example, the 16-lake circuit, the Achental cycle path or the Achen-Achter are ideal for this type of bike. Here we have collected 16 beautiful tours. They all incorporate a lot of fun and a delightful scenery. Those who want to stop for Snack will find cafés, inns, beach bars and alpine huts along the way.
