Paragliding & flying

The bird's-eye view

Experienced paraglider pilots know the best places to spread out their gliders and soar into the Chiemgau mountain air. If you are curious, you will find a few tips here that will make it easier for you to get started with paragliding. Hike and Fly is a way to try flying. At the very beginning of a paragliding career there is often a tandem flight. Some Chiemgau mountain railways have a launch ramp for paragliders at the mountain station.

The thermal conditions in the Chiemgau are also perfect for hot air balloons and gliders on many days.
