Tour description:
Follow the path to the Dürrnbachhorn/ Dürrnbachalm (1332m). Continue on a somewhat steep path to below the chairlift (1448m) and descent south to the Finsterbachalm ( 1338m) Return in westerly direchton on the forest road to the border to Austria and to the starting point.
Special features: easy alpine hike with a beautiful view of the alpine area.
Tip: good shoes. Use the free hiking bus for this tour. Please note the timetable!

From Munich or Salzburg on the federal motorway Munich - Salzburg (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B 305) to Reit im Winkl.
At the entrance to town (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding, approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district, then via the toll road from Seegatterl to the Winklmoos Alm. Car park: Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
From Munich or Innsbruck on the federal autobahn Rosenheim - Innsbruck (A 93) to Oberaudorf (exit no. 59), continue to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Continue on the B 305 to Ruhpolding for approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district then via the toll road from Seegatterl to the Winklmoos Alm. Car park: Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl
Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection!!). Take the RVO bus line 9505 to Tourist Info, then change to lines 9506 and 9507. Winklmoosalm stop.
