Bürgerbräu Bad Reichenhall - Bichelbruck - Feldkirchen - Freilassing - Weißbräu Freilassing - Patting - Hörafing - Roßdorf - Teisendorf - Privatbrauerei MC Wieninger - Höglwörther See - Anger - Aufham - Piding - Bad Reichenhall

Let's start at the private Alpine brewery Bürgerbräu Bad Reichenhall . The brewery and its brewery inn with a unique historic dining room are right next to the town hall. From here you start your round tour. You leave the pedestrian zone behind you and drive along Salzburger Straße. There you turn right into the Marzoller Weg onto the cycle path. Through the village of Weißbach and along the banks of the Saalach , you cycle through the Marzoller Au and cross the river at the Pidinger Steg. You follow the "Salzhandelsweg" downstream via Bichelbruck and Feldkirchen to Freilassing to the Weißbier brewery, the Weißbräu Freilassing . You can only taste the wheat beer from the small private brewery in the in-house brewery inn.

Freshly strengthened and motivated, you head out of town in a westerly direction via Wasserburger Straße on the long-distance cycle path "Via Julia" . Continue to the small village of Patting, where you turn left and follow the long-distance cycle path via Hörafing and Roßdorf to Teisendorf . After a tour of the MC Wieninger private brewery, you can enjoy hearty delicacies in the Alte Post brewery inn. From Teisendorf you follow the "Teisenberg Runde" for about four kilometers. Over forest and meadows it goes to the Höglwörther See. The idyllic lake offers welcome refreshment. The "Teisenberg Runde" takes you further to Anger. From there it goes steadily downhill: following the “Bodensee-Königssee-Radweg” , via Aufham to Piding and along the Saalach back to Bad Reichenhall .

Tip: Would you like to learn more about salt ? Then visit not only the Alpine town of Bad Reichenhall but also the former salt town of Traunstein . Follow the trail of “the white gold” on the Salinenweg and get to know the history of salt in Traunstein or hike along the Sollleitung on the SalzAlpenWeg from Traunstein via Siegsdorf to Inzell.
