Tour description:

This route is perfect for families and leisure cyclists looking for a varied and scenic route. Your ride starts in Grassau. Here you will find ample parking options and can stock up on snacks or refreshments in one of our cozy cafés before you start.

Along the Kendlmühlfilzen Nature Reserve, the cycle path takes you straight to the Chiemsee shore. The route offers numerous viewpoints where you can admire the beauty of the "Bavarian Sea" from all sides. Along the way, you will find many opportunities to stop directly at the cycle path or to swim. The well-developed and family-friendly route makes it easy to enjoy the breathtaking landscape while being active.

Our tips:

  • Start early to make the most of the day.
  • Bring swimwear – the Chiemsee invites you to swim at many spots.
  • Bring water and small snacks, especially if you’re traveling with children.
