Tour description:
From the Winklmoos-Alm car park head in the direction of Heutal valley (Austrian marker no. 16) via the forest road on the "Heutal-Landweg".
After a 6 km hike, the Heutal valley opens up. At the Heutaler Hof we turn left towards the Staubfall waterfall. (It is possible to continue to Ruhpolding).
On the same way back to the Heutal valley and then left to the old inn. Here on the right (No. 13) up to Moarlack, then westwards to the crossroads, then uphill to the left (No. 14) over the Gföller Mähder, further over pastures and mowing meadows, through the forest to the Wielandseitenalm. From here it goes westwards back to the Winklmoos-Alm.

This tour leads to the Unkener Heutal valley at the foot of the Sonntagshorn mountain and to the Staubfall waterfall that pours down from the Reifelberge Mountains into the Fischbachtal valley.

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine road (B305) to Reit im Winkl. At the entrance to the village (Entfelden), in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district, then via the toll road from Seegatterl to the Winklmoos - Alm. Parking: -Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl.

Parking: -Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection!). With the RVO bus line 9505 to Tourist - Info, then you can change to line 9506 and 9507. Bus stops Seegatterl and Winklmoos-Alm.
