The hut in the moor is located in the landscape conservation area in the Lienzinger Moos. Pure nature and moorland, as well as the nearby Chiemsee, are the special features all year round. The Hütte im Moor is very popular with cyclists and water sports enthusiasts.
The rustic log cabin is 80 years old and has been lovingly renovated and insulated in recent years. Everything is ecological. Gas district heating on the upper floor without environmental pollution. The heating is operated with exhaust-free liquid gas, no CO-2 emissions, no fine dust. The sewage is purified by an own bio-treatment plant. A generous dormer window to the south and 6 large skylights to the north illuminate the spacious upper floor over the entire depth. The moorland plot (3,000m²) offers a large retractable awning with table, bench and garden chairs when staying on the south wall of the cottage. A place to relax and unwind in the beautiful nature. For children, play equipment such as 2 swings, children's slide, trampoline and a dreamy children's house in the nearby forest are favourites. The site is not fenced in due to "landscape protection". Caution is requested when walking on the unmown meadow sections, as the ground is soft and wet. The meadow is not mown until mid-August because of the diverse moorland flora.
Parking spaces are located a few metres from the hut in the forest shade.
