Tour description:
The route begins in the center of Grassau. From there the path leads us along well-developed, flat cycle paths past the impressive Kendlmühlfilzen nature reserve.
It continues past Rottau until we finally reach the Bavarian Moor and Peat Museum. It's worth a short stop here to learn more about the fascinating history and ecological importance of the moor and peat extraction. The next stage of the route takes us up to the Westerbuchberg. This small climb requires some fitness, but the effort is richly rewarded: once at the top, a breathtaking panorama over the Achental opens up, making you forget every uphill. On the way back to Grassau, we pass through the well-kept green areas of the 18-hole golf course.
