Tour description:
Until 2023, the market town of Grassau was the "most bee-friendly community in Upper Bavaria". The Rottau Bee Trail contributed to this award among other things. It leads along field paths on the edge of Rottau, past various exhibition points where you can learn what a honeybee does all day and why they are so important for our nature.
A special highlight is the observation bee hive: here you can observe the busy activity of a real bee colony live through a glass pane – a fascinating insight.
