Tour description:

The trail connects Grassau with Rottau and offers a split just before Rottau: an easier loop to the north and a more challenging option with inclines on the mountainside and crossing the B305 to the south.

Entry points are available in Grassau-Kucheln, at the Salz & Moor Museum (Klaushäusl), in Rottau on Hackenstraße at the cemetery as well as on Hochgernstraße. The trail can also be connected with the golf course and mountain meadow trails as well as the Achental trail to the south towards Schleching.

Arrival by car

Coming from the A8 from Munich: Take the second exit at the roundabout towards Reit im Winkl and follow the road through Bernau to Rottau.
