In the period from 1922 to 1940, the railroad between Ruhpolding and Reit im Winkl was primarily used to transport wood from Seegatterl - but the forestry workers also used it as a means of transport to their - sometimes remote - places of work.
Passing monuments, along the rippling river "Traun", the hike then ends at the lumberjack museum. There you can take a look at the new exhibition, which clarifies the connections once again.
The hike is unfortunately not possible in English language
The bus takes you back to the village at 12:29 or 14:13 - Optional is the visit of the museum
