For your information, our pricing and booking options are as follows: for 1–3 nights, a staggered short-stay surcharge applies. From 4 nights onwards, no surcharge applies. For longer stays, we grant discounts in some cases.
Deposit and final payment are to be made by bank transfer or via PayPal (“Friends”) to tucasachiemsee@yahoo.com, unless payment has already been made through a booking portal. All payments (including security deposit, tourist tax, or extras) must be made via PayPal or bank transfer; no cash or credit card payments are accepted on site.
In principle, the payment and cancellation conditions of the respective booking portal apply.
Regarding the deposit (if not otherwise specified by the booking portal):
90% of the total price is to be paid as a deposit within 7 days of the booking date. The remaining balance, plus a security deposit of EUR 120 and the local tourist tax, is to be paid no later than 7 days prior to the arrival date (we will inform you separately about this approximately 7 days before arrival). The security deposit will be refunded after departure provided that the inventory is intact and complete (please provide a bank account or PayPal address for the refund).
Regarding cancellation (if not otherwise specified by the booking portal):
In high season, cancellation is free of charge up to 30 days prior to the arrival date; thereafter, 90% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee unless the property can be re-let. Outside of high season, cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days prior to arrival; thereafter, 90% of the total price will be charged, unless the property can be re-let. In the case of short-notice bookings combined with short-notice cancellations, especially close to the end of the cancellation period, we reserve the right to charge a compensation fee for administrative expenses.
Children and babies are welcome. A high chair, stair safety gate, and a travel cot (for ages 0–36 months) are available. All rooms provide sufficient space to set up the travel cot (guests may also bring their own).
Dogs (up to the size of a Labrador) and cats are welcome as pets. Other pets, different sizes, or more than two animals are subject to prior request. If the booking portals do not allow pets to be booked directly, please inform us and we will add them to your booking separately (first pet EUR 30/day; discounts may apply from stays of 4 or 5 days—please inquire). On our website, pets can be added in the second step under “bookable additional services.” The garden and the entire property surrounding the house are fenced. For various services related to your dog, you are welcome to contact our partner “Chiemgau mit Pfoten.”
Some booking portals display certain information about activities and amenities under different categories, which may cause confusion. If any particular aspect of the accommodation’s amenities is especially important to you, please contact us in advance (e.g. additional cleaning for stays of 8 days or longer).
Included in the rental price are: final cleaning, television, and per booked guest: bed linen plus two towels (one larger and one smaller). Towels for the swimming beach, garden/loungers, or other activities must be brought by guests themselves.
Details regarding individual and self-service check-in (and check-out) will be sent to you by email approximately 7 days prior to arrival. An “early check-in” on the day of arrival or a “late check-out” on the day of departure may be arranged for an additional fee, subject to availability; please contact us in good time, as this is usually only possible if there is no subsequent booking or if the cleaning service can be rescheduled.
In the accommodation you will also find the “Tu Casa Chiemsee Guest Guide,” which provides detailed information about the house, its furnishings, appliances, and the surroundings in Gstadt. Upon request, we are happy to send this guide to you in advance by email from approximately 7 days before arrival. The guide is a binding part of the booking conditions, particularly with regard to Wi‑Fi and Magenta TV terms of use, inventory, and house rules.
The stated prices are exclusive of the local tourist tax charged by the municipality of Gstadt in the amount of EUR 1.50 per person per night for guests aged 16 and over. Children under the age of 16 as well as severely disabled persons (degree of disability of 90% or more) and companions of severely disabled persons (marker “B”) are exempt from the tourist tax.
