Tour description:

Starting point: Festsaal, cross-country stadium.

This evening tour takes you comfortably along a short stretch along the "Kaiserblick" premium trail and into the magical fairytale forest. Back to the cross-country ski station, the mountains shine in a wide variety of colors, depending on the weather.

The high valley of Reit im Winkl, which is wide open to the west and only limited by the Kaiser Mountains in the distance, offers an incomparable and unique light show 30 minutes before and after sunset, especially from November to May. During this time, it is physically possible for the sun to illuminate the clouds from below. Depending on the weather, the setting of the sun can be associated with an impressive play of colors, which sometimes not only shines in the sunset, but also has yellow or violet hues. This warm and "long" light has always "touched" us humans in a very special way.
