Tour description:

The hike leads through mountain forests on comfortable forest roads into the Rottauer Alpine area up to the Weissenalm. Once at the alpine hut, you can refresh yourself and at the same time enjoy a great view of the Rottauer local mountain, the Gedererwand. The return route goes past the mountain inn Adersberg back to Rottau, the starting point.

Ideal for hot days. Alpine refreshment at the Weissen-Alm, the Vorderalm is not served!

Arrival by car

Coming from the A8, take the Bernau exit and continue towards Grassau. At the entrance to Rottau, there is a free hiking car park on the right on Adersbergstraße. This is also the starting point of the route.

Parking at the destination

At the Rottau Tourist Information or at the hiking car park on federal road 305 towards Bernau (Adersbergstraße).

Arrival by public transport

From Prien a. Chiemsee train station with bus line 9505 Prien - Reit im Winkl - Prien, stop Rottau | Tourist information.
In the summer months, arrival is also possible with the Chiemseeringlinie 9586.
