Tour description:
Via the Wimmerkreuz hiking trail you get to the RVO bus depot, then you follow the route of the former "Waldbahn" to Seegatterl (774m). The hiking trail goes along the Schwarzlofer river.
From Seegatterl you first go along the B 305 in the direction of Lake Weitsee, after about 250m you cross the B 305 and go north along the B 305 to the "Jochbergalmen" junction. From here it goes up again on a forest path to the Jochbergalmen (898m) and further down the Alzbach to "Entfelden" and here on the sidewalk next to the B 305 to the starting point.
Special features: Bathing possibilities at Lake Weitsee. In the area of the Jochbergalmen wonderful alpine fauna.
Attention: The path from RVO - industrial area to Seegatterl is also a cycle path, also the path via Jochbergalmen is used by MTBs. Please show mutual consideration.
When the temperatures are warm, a dip in Lske Weitsee is a must.
Don't forget your bathing suit.

Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chimesee train station (best bus connection!). With the RVO bus line 9505. Stop directly at the tourist information or in the center.
