Tour description:

Beautiful circular route – over idyllic mountain paths you hike to Strehtrumpf with a magnificent view of the Kendlmühlfilzen nature reserve. Then continue past the former guesthouse until a short climb takes you to Zeppelinhöhe. There you will find a panorama of Grassau, the Achental, the Hochgern and even up to the Schnappenkirche! The descent proceeds through mountain forests until you reach the hiking car park again.

Arrival by car

From the A8 Munich - Salzburg:

Exit Bernau am Chiemsee, then at the roundabout towards Reit im Winkl. Continue straight through Bernau and Rottau. About 200 m after the Grassau town sign, turn right onto the street Hinterm Bichl. Then follow the road to the hiking car park.
