Tour description:

Egglbrücke - Sagenweg - Gstatt - Brandstätterbrücke - Egglbrücke

The winter hiking trail starts at the Eggl Bridge in Ruhpolding . From there you first hike along the Weißen Traun and follow the signposted Sagenweg with the number 83 . After a few hundred meters, turn right at the Motor-Sport-Club Ruhpolding in the district of Gstatt, then continue along a path through snow-covered meadows.

The path winds its way through the Ruhpolding valley in the direction of the Brandstätter Bridge without major inclines. Along the path there are always rows of large, snow-covered trees. With the Brandstätter Bridge you cross the Urschlauer Ache , which gives the winter hike its name. You now follow the Toni-Stengel-Weg with the number 82. The sound of the Urschlauer Ache accompanies you. As soon as you have reached the traffic light, it is not far to the Egglbrücke, the starting point of your tour.

Along the way you will find many inns and small cafés. They make this winter hike something very special. A cozy stop in the warm rounds off your hiking tour.
