Tour description:
From the starting point of the Festsaal on Tiroler Straße, you first head towards the parish church, then continue on Hausbergstraße to the footpath towards the Eckkapelle chapel.
Once there, the path continues through the winter landscape to the Liebberg Hut. The last few meters of altitude to the target and finally to the Hutzenalm are leisurely. The view of the snow-covered Kaiser Mountains rewards all efforts.
After a stop, the descent to Birnbach leads to the starting point.
Attention: Please do not take the Wetterkreuz junction - there is a risk of falling here in winter. It is not possible to continue to Walmberg in winter. After heavy fresh snowfall, the tour is not accessible due to the danger of avalanches. Please always only follow the green signs.
