The Raffner-Alm can be reached all year round in just a few minutes on foot from the valley station of the Unternbergbahn(ascent time: approx. 20 minutes) .
However, it is also possible to go from the Alm on the gravel road to a mountain rescue hut . Here you turn left and can now go to the summit of the Unternberg . Then you go back the same way (if you want, you can take a shortcut via the ski slope) until you reach the Raffner Alm again (duration: approx. 2 hours) .
In winter, the Raffner Alm can be reached from the ski slope.
The Alm with its beautiful sun terrace offers a large playground with toys for children. The "little ones" can let off steam and play while their parents enjoy their snack.
A special highlight of the Raffneralm is the hut evening . It takes place every week in the high season. Other dates can be found on the website. On the evenings mentioned, the Ruhpoldinger Schuhplattler come and make for a fun evening with Bavarian music and dancing . In the spirit of: "G'plattlt, g'spuit and dance and g'sunga"
