Tour description:

The tour is suitable for beginners with its leisurely and easy climbs. It offers beautiful views, paths over wide alpine meadows and also a cultural highlight. We start the hike at the lower Streichen car park and follow the signs from there towards Chiemhauser Alm. After an easy climb on wide paths through the forest, we reach the Haideralm. We pass this and enjoy the view over the Petereralm to the Kaiser Mountains. At the next junction to the right in the direction of the Petereralm, we have reached the highest point of the tour and continue to hike slightly downhill. Past the Petereralm, the tour continues across an alpine meadow area to the junction in the direction of Streichen. On a wide path and finally slightly uphill again, we reach the pranks. The view from there of the Schlechinger mountains is always breathtaking! When the Streichen Church is open, it's worth taking a look inside - with its unique murals dating from around 1440, it is an extraordinary testimony to medieval church art. Return on a wide forest road downhill to the lower Streichen car park.
