Hochgern hiking car park - Kaltenbachtal - Jochbergalm - Röthelmoosalm - Wappachtal - Weitsee. From the car park, follow path no. 52 through the shady Kaltenbachtal up to the Jochbergalm. After a short rest at the alpine pasture, walk back a few meters and then take path no. 58 down to the left towards Röthelmoos/Ruhpolding. You will soon reach a fork in the path. Here, keep right and continue down to the Röthelmoosalm. Enjoy another rest on the beautiful, partly managed alpine pastures. Then follow path no. 49, along lush alpine meadows with a wonderful mountain panorama to the beginning of the Wappbachtal. The path then takes you along the constantly descending path along the Wappbach to the B305 federal highway to the Weitsee. Here, after a swim at the Weitsee, you can take the bus via Reit im Winkl back to the Achental.
