Tour description:
From the starting point via Dorfstraße to the church, then right into Hausbergstraße and to the Eckkapelle chapel. Continue over the Glapfalm to the Wetterkreuz summit.
The descent leads on a path along the mountain slope to the Hutzenalm, path no.32, then the Almstraße, past the Glocknerschau, back via Birnbach to the center of the village and to the starting point.
Special features: Enjoy a breathtaking view from the Wetterkreuz summit and the Glockner viewpoint.
Caution! A short stretch along a meadow slope is steep! Surefootedness and a head for heights required.
Tip: The path can also be used as a moderately difficult hike using the signs for path no. 32.
Those who love exciting paths and have a head for heights, go left past the Kriegerkapelle chapel and climb up the Hausbergsteig. The starting point remains the same. Once at the top, continue left on path no. 32 to the Wetterkreuz summit.
