Behind the Gasthof Hindenburghütte (minibus transfer for a fee) the hiking trail starts on the left on a tarred road. At a crossroads when Sulzner-Kaser a big info point pointing to all premium paths that start here. The hike leads here to the left in the direction of Pflegeereck. At the Anna Chapel, go right past the idyllic Obere Hemmersuppenalm to the next fork, where you come across a fountain .

At this intersection, the premium hiking trail continues to the left. The path, which then leads to the right in the direction of Pflegeereck, meanders over boggy terrain at a memorial stone for woodworkers into the forest.Over a wooden footbridge and a small stream with a waterfall , you continue on an old Jägersteig to a forest road that leads to the Pflegeereck- Forstdiensthütte leads.

We don't hike to the hut, but straight on. On this old smuggler path we come across a swath that marks the Tyrolean border. On the left we catch a glimpse of the namesake of this path, because in good conditions you can see the glacier-covered Großvenediger . The path winds its way up through increasingly alpine terrain. We get to the pasture area of the Durchkaseralmen , here we have to be careful not to miss a junction after a small rest bench on the right.

From the Durchkaseralmen the path leads to the right along a mountain path that looks like a balcony . Because here you have the best view of the Bavarian Alpine foothills with the Chiemsee. The path continues to the left through mountain pines . The almost alpine trail ends quite abruptly on another alpine pasture , opposite the Fellhorn can be seen.

Shortly after a knoll there is a fantastic view of the Chiemsee and the Kaiser Mountains. Now it is only a short distance to the Straubing House . Next to the house, the path leads back towards the Hindenburghütte . It goes downhill on a gravel and stone path , a brook babbles to the right. The Sulzner Kaser invites you to take a last rest. A few meters later the path leads back to the left.
