Shopping list (for approx. 60 small doughnuts)

100 g butter
2 eggs
3 tbsp cream
2 tbsp liquid honey
250 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
100 g walnuts
Oil for frying

Preparation:

Cream together the butter, eggs, cream and honey and then stir in the sifted flour and baking powder. Work into a smooth batter and finally mix in the chopped walnuts. Scoop out the dough dumplings with a teaspoon, shape them into small balls and then press them together to form dumplings. Place these in hot oil and fry for approx. 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown, turning several times. The oil must not be too hot, otherwise the doughnuts will quickly darken on the outside but remain raw on the inside. Drain the doughnuts on kitchen paper and serve.
