The walk begins at the nature observation station in Chieming . As you walk along the wintry east bank of Chiemsee , a fantastic view opens up: the Bavarian Sea stretches out in front of you, giving you a clear view of the snow-capped mountains behind. The path continues along the shore before you turn right after about 800 meters and hike through the Chieming district of Stöttham . Thanks to the few meters in altitude and a distance of 3.7 kilometers, the circular hiking trail is ideal for a relaxed winter walk . From Stöttham, the path takes you back to Chieming and on to the nature observation station , the starting point.
