tip

The Frillensee freezes over as early as November and often has a stable ice cover early on. This is one of the reasons why Germany's coldest lake has often been the scene of events such as speed skating or ice hockey in the past. To this day Inzell is known for speed skating and the venue for competitions. Visit the Max Aicher Arena, one of the most innovative ice rinks in the world!
