Circular tour Grassauer Almen (from valley cable car ststion Hochplattenbahn)

On the way to the Grassauer Almen we go uphill from the valley station towards the Rachl Alm. The path initially leads mainly through the forest, crosses the route of the Hochplattenbahn and the view then becomes clearer until you reach the Rachl Alm over an open pasture area. To the north of the Hufnagel Alm we reach the Hefter Alm via a narrow meadow path. A forest path leads us downhill to the Strehtrumpf and we can enjoy the beautiful view of the moor and Chiemsee. Shortly after the property there is a sign pointing towards the Hochplattenbahn. The path leads through the forest and past the Zeppelinhöhe to a stream that we have to cross, where we turn left and go downhill towards the valley station, past the Chiemseeblick lookout point, the fairy tale adventure park and Niedernfels Castle and then back to the starting point.
