The Alm can be reached either from the Kalkofen hiking car park in Bergen(ascent time: approx. 1 ¼ hours) or from the Steinbergalm in Ruhpolding .
An ascent from the Steinbergalm car park in Ruhpolding is particularly recommended for seniors, families and cyclists , as this leads up to the Bachschmied-Kaser via a comfortable forest road(ascent time: approx. 40 minutes) .
Of course you can also choose the more comfortable variant via the Hochfelln cable car(ascent time: approx. 15 minutes) .
During a delicious and homemade snack , with homemade cheese, or the freshly "undressed" you can charge your e-bike here for free before you climb the summit strengthened. In addition, the hike is made more attractive for children by cows, goats and other animals and a beautiful playground.
