Tour description:

The cross-country trail starts just outside the municipality of Schleching . From the Baumgarten car park, follow the trail signs clockwise. In classic or skating style - depending on your preference - you run across the snow-covered meadows. On your cross-country skiing tour you will always be accompanied by the view of the wintry village. You follow the course of the trail parallel to the Tiroler Ache, which flows in the direction of Chiemsee , until you have passed the district of Ettenhausen. The first more demanding climb awaits you south of Ettenhausen. A short descent is followed by further climbs. You are now walking west of Schleching. You still have the community in mind. To your left there is a forest at the foot of the Geigelstein , also known as the Blumenberg of the Chiemgau Alps. On the way back to the starting point, a few more climbs await you before the last stretch is all downhill.
